GROUND BLADE- The machine-ground Solingen steel blade is honed to produce smooth, burr-free cuts. The blade slices across the paper so there are no compression marks or fanning. SAFETY FEATURES- Your fingers are protected from the blade at all times with integrated safety features. The blade is locked in the up position until both the clamp and the shield are down. Likewise, you can’t raise the shield until the blade is raised. EXTREME ACCURACY- Make the perfect cut by aligning the spindle-driven backstop with the precision ruler that contains measurements down to 1/16 of an inch.
